This first day of your Jaipur Desert Tour will start as you arrive in Jaipur. Our tour representative will pick you up from Jaipur Railway Station/ Jaipur International Airport and transfer you to the hotel. After you have checked in we will go on a sightseeing tour of Jaipur by private car. The tourist attractions that we have included in our Jaipur tour itinerary for today are given below. We will drop you at your hotel, where you will have dinner and a night stay in the hotel.  Jaipur City Palace: Very famous for its palaces, courtyards, museums, and temples. Every palace here is famous for Rajput architecture. The museum here is worth visiting for its ancient and medieval exhibits.    Hawa Mahal: Famous for its architecture and 953 intricately carved windows. Royal ladies in the olden days used to watch festivals, royal processions, and daily life through these windows.  Jantar Mantar: Ancient astronomical observatory in Jaipur. It has around 19 instruments to observe celestial bodies and measure time.  Birla Temple: A marble temple dedicated to Hindu gods Vishnu and Lakshmi. Famous for its architecture.  Albert Hall Museum: Oldest museum in Rajasthan. Famous for Egyptian Mummy and other relics and artifacts. The architecture of the Albert Hall Museum is very famous.

Today is going to be an exciting day of sightseeing in Jaipur. We will wake up early and after breakfast go for a sightseeing tour of the famous forts in Jaipur. The forts and other monuments we have included in this day’s Jaipur Desert Tour are given below.  Amer Fort: Most famous UNESCO heritage site. The artistic elements like paintings, carvings, and sculptures are famous things to watch out for in this fort. The fort has many palaces, huge courtyards, temples, gates, and Mughal-style gardens.  Jaigarh Fort: Connected to Amer Fort via underground tunnels. The Jaivana Cannon in the fort was made completely in the fort and is considered to be the world’s largest cannon-on-wheels.  Nahargarh Fort: Very famous for its panoramic views of Jaipur city, Man Sagar Lake, and other monuments.  Kanak Vrindavan Garden: This elegant garden with beautiful architecture, water fountains, lush green trees, flowers, pavilions, and walkways.  Jal Mahal: Built in Man Sagar Lake and famous for its unique architecture. You can view this palace from a distance. After this Jaipur sightseeing tour, we will check-out from Jaipur and proceed to our next destination of this Jaipur Desert Tour, which is Jodhpur. On arrival in Jodhpur, we will check- in at the hotel and then overnight stay in Jodhpur.

Today we have a long day ahead of us, in which we will do sightseeing in Jodhpur and some exciting activities. We will wake up early and go for a sightseeing tour of Jodhpur. The places we have included in this day’s Jodhpur tour itinerary are as follows.  Mehrangarh Fort: Famous for its magnificent architecture and museum, palaces, and panoramic views of Jodhpur city.  Jaswant Thada: Marble monument of impressive architecture. It was the cremation ground of the former kings of Jodhpur.  Umaid Bhawan Palace: Counted in the world’s largest private residences. Marvellous palace with a museum, royal residence, halls, and chambers for royal guests.  Osian Desert Safari: Osian is a small town near Jodhpur, which has a desert landscape and the famous Sachiya Mata Temple, Surya Temple, and others. The Osian desert safari gives you experience of camel rides and desert camp stays. After this Jodhpur sightseeing, we will check-out from the hotel and proceed to Bikaner, which is our next destination for this Jaipur Desert Tour.

Today we will visit the famous places in Bikaner. We will wake up early and after breakfast start this day’s sightseeing tour of Bikaner where we have included the following places.  Junagarh Fort: Very famous for its magnificent architecture, Havelis, and artistic pavilions.  Karni Mata Temple: Famous as the Temple of Rats. The rats here are considered to be very holy and disciples of the goddess.  National Research Centre on Camel: You will see many breeds of camels here, their behavior, and other aspects of camels. After this sightseeing in Bikaner, we will check-out from Bikaner and leave for Jaisalmer by road. When we arrive in Jaisalmer, we will check-in at the hotel and night stay in Jaisalmer.

We will go for Jaisalmer sightseeing on this day and the famous places we have covered today are as follows. This day’s night stay will be in Jaisalmer.  Jaisalmer Fort: Very famous UNESCO World Heritage Site in Jaisalmer. Huge fort with temples, havelis, walkways, shops, and views of Jaisalmer.  Patwon ki Haveli: Medieval haveli with vintage architecture, museum, chambers, and carvings.  Gadisar Lake: Man-made lake in Jaisalmer, famous for its boating, and view of temples and monuments.  Sam sand dunes: We will visit the sand dunes near Jaisalmer in the evening. You can go for camel rides, and jeep rides, enjoy folk music and dance, bonfire dinner, and star gazing.

Today we will visit some famous places in the Jaisalmer desert area, which are as follows:  Kuldhara Abandoned Village: This is a ruined village called Kuldhara, which was abandoned in a single night. You can view the houses and some kitchen equipment, the temple, and the well.  Khuri sand dunes: The sand dunes at Khuri are more remote than the ones at Sam. But they are very scenic.  Khabha Fort: Abandoned fort with very good views of the desert area and birds like peacocks. After we have done this sightseeing in Jaisalmer desert we will make departure to Jaipur. We will drop you at Jaipur Airport or Jaipur Railway Station and you can resume your onward journey.
